History:
Long before Blaire was born, her mother (a witch) became involved with a demon who is now Blaire's father. Blaire was never given the chance to get to know her father, because when she was very young her mother left him. Her mother said that she did not want Blaire to grow up with bad influences in her life, and she considered Blaire's demonic father to be a bad influence.
Blaire's mother always wanted a normal life for her daughter. For this reason, she did not send Blaire to magic school. Keeping her magic a secret in school was a constant struggle for Blaire. Blaire's mother was constantly working when Blaire was growing up, so she never noticed that Blaire was having difficulties with her magic. When she became a teen, Blaire began to use her powers to rebel. Because of her rebellion, her mother thought it was time Blaire went to magic school, so she could learn to control her powers. Blaire is now entering tenth grade, and she has never been to magic school before.
Adjusting to a new school has been hard. Blaire can be your best friend as long as you do not say anything to offend her, but when she does get offended she is known to hold grudges for a short while. From a young age demons have been coming after her. The majority of the demons are ones that her father hired to get her and bring her back to him.
Details: Most adults say that she gets 'sassy' with them. This is because she cannot stand authority figures. When adults try to boss her around she does not take well to it.

Blaire quietly walked down the long, dark alley. She did not know why demons choose such odd places to hang out in. All she knew was that she had scryed for the demon who had just attacked her, and he was in this alley. "You should probably just come out. You are making this harder on the both of us." She called out in a casual tone. Fighting demons was nothing new to her.
She stood against the wall, and scanned the alley in the dark. In on hand a small ball of fire appeared and disappeared, and in the other hand she held an athemay. She doubted that she would need to use the knife, but it was always better to be safe than sorry right?
