The time has come, class has started. As toya wipes the black board clear and grabs the chalk to wright the todays lesson. "Mr. Nornron Landora-Toya" was written at the top and in the middle he puts "Todays lesson-getting to know everyone and their elemental powers-demonstrations" and at last on the bottom "voluntary show, but will request to know powers"

He went to his desk and pulled out paper and a pin ready to wright names, powers, and ratings. For he did bring small black boards for fun, wanting the class thoughts on the display that they give.

Toya is in a common black rob that all the teacher in this school wear, his hands are little rough but also smooth looking. His eye right now are a lighter sad of blue, shifting from the sky blue to a sea blue. A smile on his face for he is looking for to teaching, this is new to him but something he wanted to do. As he sits down in his chair behind his desk, that lays in the back left hand corn went you enter the room, the bell rings the five minute warning to get to class.
CLASS HAS STARTED

In a logical and realistic world like this one, when the five minute warning bell went off most students went to class. They wanted to arrive five minutes early to class. Blaire on the other hand choose to be an 'individual.' She decided to show up five minutes late. It beat having to sit around in a desk while you wait for class to start.

Blaire casually walked into class as if time was not an issue her. She set the note that she and Toya had been sending back and forth on his desk and then turned around to realize the only seats left were front and center. "Shit," She mumbled, but nevertheless she went over and took her seat. The paper that Blaire had give him had on the top 'Why aren't you a jackass?' Under it was Toya's handwriting with 'Why should I be?' and Blaire ended it by writing, 'Because most teachers don't take kindly to tardy students.' She just sat in her desk smiling at him. After all wasn't there some old saying about being fashionably late?

Toya look upon the list of student and rattle off their names, they would either say they where here or raise their hand. Of course some would do a smart ass comment, but that didn't matter. Just as he finish the list and noted that baire carter wasn't in class, he didn't brother saying her name, Toya saw her walking in and giving him a note. Upon looking at it, it was the note that he had replied to in the library. Toya just pick it up and put it in his desk for now, no use fretting over it.

Toya was not an old teacher with rep, in fact he is a new teacher with no rep so there is no respect for him to come on the first day of the new school year. "OK class now that we have everyone we can start, todays lesson is to know everyone and everyone powers. I will have you state your name and your elemental powers if you have any. If not then at least state your name and why you want to learn about elements and their power." most of the class either laughed or mound at the thought of what they are doing.

The class right now small, about 10 students for now. But by the end of the year there will be more, so for now he wants to know if he can get along with them are not. One student, appears to be the 'cool' person' of the school, stands up and says "I'm Tony and my power is to chill" as he makes an snow ball in his hands and toss it in Toya's direction, but looks like it will fall short and coming from the back it was going to hit someone in front.

Unfortunately for Tony, that snow ball just happened to hit Blaire in the head. Big mistake. Blaire quickly snapped around giving the boy one fierce glare. She looked like she was going to pounce on him at any second. She almost immediately, on an impulse, formed a fireball in her hand. She was a bit of a defensive person. If something happened to her, then she defended herself no matter what that meant. "You wanna try that again?!" She snapped at him. She was seconds away from tossing the fireball right at him, because she had realized this was the same kid who'd called her an idiot earlier.

She knew she would be one of the few, if not the only kid to have fire as a power. That was mainly a demonic power, but she hoped the others did not realize that. The last thing she needed was for the other students to spread rumors that the new girl was a demon. She was, but that didn't mean she wanted everyone knowing. Blaire wasn't exactly proud of her father's side of the family.

Toya sighed as Blaire went on the defense, not to blame her. Tony hid his smirk as he sat back down "chill out girl, it's not like you're going to melt" then most if not all the class laugh under their breath. "OK class let relax it was an error in judgment OK?" even though he knew other wise.

Toya looks out at the class and said "OK if you want to show off you powers please do it up front so no one gets hit, maybe I should have incline that from the start?" he said that as a joke, but really he should have. The next kids one in front next to Blaire stands up and smiles, a girl with a slender frame and rather on the tall size of her age "I'm glare and my power is..." as she started to talk touch her black board frame and made the edges grow flowers "...earth, flowers and wood control mainly" clarifying what she had.

Toya smile and nod his head at her "thank you Glare, um Blaire would you like to tell use what your power is?" trying to get her to focus on him not Tony. If that didn't happen, then at the end of class there might be a student fight. Well that's his fear at least, not knowing what to do other wise to advert it. Then if things weren't bad as it was, Tony sits straight up with a smile and said "Ya, come on Blaire show us what you got." saying her name in a way to mock her. "She doesn't have to show, but I would like to know what element for depending on that is how I will she personal projects for you guys" Toya trying to change the mood in the room from hostel to relax and enjoyable, but it doesn't seem to be working from the way Tony keeps stirring things up

The small ball of fire in Blaire's hand increased in size when Tony told her to chill out. Before she could do anything Toya spoke and she was quickly reminded that she was in a classroom setting. Turning around in her seat, Blaire closed her hand into a fist and made the fire disappear. She let her hair fall in front of her face just hoping that would keep everyone from noticing her, but clearly that did not work.

When Toya asked her if she wanted to show them her power she mumbled under her breath, "No not really," but nevertheless she did. Without even bothering to look up she waved a hand and Tony's notebook burst into flames. "Happy?" She asked him as she scribbled in her own notebook. She was sort of trying to hide the small smile on her face.

Toya a bit surprise at what Blaire did and so seem everyone else, but things got quite at least. Well that's 3 out of 10 so far, Toya quickly looks around and ask if anyone else wants to show what they have. A male with a geeky look to him stands up and looks at the class "I'm Rick and I have the power to..." as he said that a flash came from him and he disappears "ah light control to an extent, nicely done Rick" Toya said. Toya knew that light was one of the hard element to cope with, it's not much of aggressive ability.

Then as Rick came back into View he had a smile but quickly lost it as most of the class booing him back to his seat "That enough, NO more." Toya shouted at the class getting them to stop the actions. The rest show little control or power over their elements, one could blend in with shadows, an odd thing to have. 2 showed they can stop flames or they die out closer they get to them. 2 have the power to summon rain or waves of water, and the last can help plants grow.

Toya main people will have to be Blaire, who has fire control; Tony an ice man to be; Rick who has light, but unknown on how much control he has, and Glare who has wood control, which is early signs of earth control if her powers continue to progress.

Toya smiling now raised his hands "ok would anyone of you like to see what my powers are? or try to land one hit on me?" He was trying to see if anyone would like to show how much control over their powers that they have gotten.

"Do you mean you want us to throw fire at you or something?" Blaire finally spoke up. It was the first time she had spoken in his class without shouting or glaring at someone at the same time. Her head was still down to keep her hair in her face, but she peeked out at him with curiousity. She did not want to be in this class, in fact she did not want to be in this school, but if she had to be here anyway she miswell have some 'fun' right?

While she waited for an answer she dropped a piece of paper under her desk as if it was completely on accident. Without another word she made a small gesture with her wrist and the paper slowly crept along the floor until it got to Tony's feet. All it read was 'you're dead.'

Toya laughs "yes Blaire, I want to measure on how much you have gain control over your power. If you can land a single blow on me with in say 3 shots, thinks of this like game. If one of you can hit me then no homework for a week OK?" Toya didn't notice what has happen with Blaire, but Tony seem to laugh in the back and it wasn't cause of him for he was looking down when he laugh.

It looks like everyone but Tony back out, as it seem that Blaire was still thinking about it. "OK Tony, use what ever you like, but no hurting other or you will get me as your studied buddy for the rest of the year." Tony gets up and laughs as he fires off a snow ball fast, but it turn into steam an inch away from hitting him. Tony then hold out his hand and as if nothing happens steam appears around Toya's feet "well that's two out of three" he said. Tony then sits down "I'm guessing you're fire for everything I've done melts"

Toya looks down and sighs "well it looks like Tony has given up, and no my powers are the elements. Thus is why I am the teacher of the elements" He then looks at Blair and when he did Tony tried his last short while he looked away. The snow ball hit the wall next to him and those in front of the class felt the wind when it happen "anyone else?" Toya said as Tony sat back down and grumble under his breath

Blaire snickered at Tony when he clearly failed. She looked at Toya before shaking her head. She said, "There's no point in anyone trying to beat you. If you really can control all the elements like you say then none of us have a chance. I would give it a try, but you'll just put the fire out, if wood-girl tries you'll probably set her wood on fire. There's no way anyone here would beat you." She wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, just stating the facts. From what she could tell you would have to catch Toya very off guard in order to get a hit on him.

She glanced at the clock a minute before asking Toya casually, "When does class end?"

Toya smile at she realize that "well that's sad and I wanted to see what you had in store" then she ask him a question and right when he was going answer the bell rings "right now". The class is about an hour long, but many things can happen in one hour. Boy doesn't he know "OK class you can leave, oh and don't worry about home work for the next week. But I will still assign class work to be done by the end of class, Tomorrow is understanding ones element. Please don't be late" then he looks at Blaire

Toya didn't know what to do with her "was it necessary to destroy my note book?" before she could answer he add on "don't start fights that you can't finish without conflict" as he said that he went to his desk to do todays assessments

Blaire was about ready to rush out of the classroom, but she stopped right in her tracks when Toya spoke to her. She turned around and stared at him. What did she care if she was late to her next class right? "No, it wasn't necessary, but it was fun as hell to do it." She told him casually. "Why? Should I not have done that?" She asked him with an innocent look on her face as if she really did not know the answer to that question.

She almost broke out laughing, but she managed to contain herself. "I could have ended that fight. I just choose not to, because I didn't quite think being suspended on my first day was a good way to start...I'll save getting suspended for tomorrow. Besides what does it matter to you anyway if I want to start a fight or not? I'm not five. I can make my own decisions."

"As for being late," She continued, "I'm always late. Get used to it, because I don't change for anyone." It was clear Blaire really had no respect for any adults including Toya.

Toya chuckle under his breath "If that is what you want, go ahead. But remember, if you keep picking fights you wont have anywhere to hide if no one is on your side." he kept doing his work as he said that, knowing that Blaire wont change her mind about him so soon but at least she was inserted in him a little.

As his class left his room, he got ready for the next group of kids, or anything else. Not to many kids have power over elements and those that do tends to have it tied with something else, so he doesn't have to many class in a day. He went to write on his black board and it said 'personal studies, need one on one help Walk right in. Light, darkness, lighting, thunder, water, air, earth, fire. learn everything about each.' Then went to his desk and work on his book about the elements, his life work that he has been through.

"Trust me I can handle myself. I don't need anyone to hide behind." Blaire told Toya in a defensive tone as if she thought he was calling her weak, and saying that she needed help defending herself. She stared at him for a few more seconds before turning to leave his class and telling him, "You know you're a psycho. I would never waste away my life teaching a bunch of bratty witches how to play around with magic."

Toya chuckles as she starts to walk away "and yet you're here learning how to 'Play' with magic." Toya couldn't help but say that line for it was true. Even if she was right that he is wasting his life away teaching kids, there are still people who need or want to learn magic and that is why this school is here. So being here means it's not a total wast of his life.

Toya starts to sing as he gets his work done, but in a low tone "lighting strike to make fire and dies to make ask, as it flows in the wind dusting the Sky's dark. waters washing the shore away, letting the beach shine in the light. Everyone listen to the songs of the land. open ears to the hear the melody of the sea, open your hear to feel the rhythm of the land, and feel the beat of the flames..." (I'll refine his song as we go on this the RP) ;D
